Rock On!
Yosemite is one of the most world renowned climbing areas. Climbing in the park can go from easy bouldering to multiple day climbs up El Capitan. Yosemite is not just a climber heaven, but also, its walls are an integral part of a larger ecosystem, protected as National Wilderness, which was set aside for people to enjoy in a natural state for generations to come.
Getting into rock climbing may seem intimidating with Yosemite being such a famous rock climbing area which is why there are great resources to learn or improve the necessary skills of rock climbing. The Yosemite Mountaineering School offers training classes for all skill levels from beginners that have never put on a pair of rock climbing shoes to advanced climbers just wanting to refine their skill before taking on a insane climb.
