Meet the Chef
Chef Jesse McClelland joins us all the way from New South Wales, Australia. After formal training in Commercial Cookery at the William Angliss Institute in Australia, Chef Jesse made his way to America.
Chef Jesse’s American adventures took him to the Valley River Inn in Eugene, Oregon, The Truffle Pig in Steam Boat Springs, Colorado, and included a stint in Alaska.
We love his food because he elevates grilled foods to an entirely new flavor profile, and yet he brings beauty and sophistication to the plate with irresistible combinations such as Marinated Fresh Burrata with Copa Ham, Quince Paste, Cantaloupe, Candied Pecans and Balsamic Reduction.
When he’s not in the kitchen preparing amazing food for the Evergreen, you can find him snowboarding, camping and fishing Yosemite’s pristine waterways, killing it at a campfire sing-a-long, or teeing up at one of Tuolumne County’s lovely golf courses.
Cheers!
